I was doing my downward dog  and thinking there has to bee something more exciting to work out on then a plain blue mat. So I worked with my friend Peter to design and make the first patterned mats. Everyone loved the mats including Oprah, so we mad a big order, unfortunately I invested all my money on making more mats and then the Competitors overseas copied my mats and flooded the market with a cheaper version. I lost everything. but then I got a call from Oprah''s office they asked me if I had any mats I told them I did and donated all of them to her school in Africa.
